We use the following open-source software to open some photo formats in your browser.

heic-to 1.6.6

License: LGPL-3.0.

The heic-to README identifies libheif 1.23.6, and its build instructions specify libde265 1.0.16, an HEVC decoder. Both libraries are licensed under LGPL-3.0.

We use an unmodified release, loaded from this site as a separate script only when needed.
